I got stuck in traffic…

I went home late today because I had to finish an important assignment at work. I got out of the office at around 4 pm. I was supposed to be excited because its payday. However, I was not really as excited as I imagined. I got off from a jeepney near a school. There were a lot of students on the sidewalk so I had to struggle myself through. When I reached the mall, I remembered I had to buy vitamins and stuff for the house and I also realized I don’t have much in my pocket. So I needed to drop by an ATM. Well, what do you expect on a payday? Of course, nothing could get even worst! There was a long line of people waiting for their turn. It took me almost an hour to finally withdraw enough for what I needed. Then I bought Vitamin E. Then went straight to the grocery. Then I had to fall in line again! I got so tired already so I decided I’ll take a cab going home. And guess what! Another line… (sigh) Well at first, it was okay but after all the vacant taxicabs had gone, I started to get impatient. So, I looked for ways of finding it myself but I was hopeless. It’s almost 6PM already. Everyone’s heading home. I took courage of looking for a jeepney and thank GOD I finally got on one! My fate of getting stuck this afternoon did not stop there. I had to patiently wait until we passed through that red traffic light. It was a relief! I was still thankful, I got home safe and sound.
