Mama’s Day
Mom was born on June 13, 1957 and she is celebrating her birthday today with her husband, Al, and my aunt, Estella. Tita Estella is treating her to a Michael Jackson show. I hope that even if she is far away from us she is happy.
Mom has endured a lot of difficulties, sacrifices, pain. She expresses herself all the time and she does not care even if she had to cry. I think it is one of her ways of dealing with heartaches or pain. She has been very strong for the three of us. She is our role model when it comes to being independent. Although, she was not working before in an office, she managed to stretch out our budget by properly spending our money making sure that all necessities are taken care of. She is also very industrious and that she was able to help my father by running a business on her own. She never got tired of taking care of us even in the most difficult times of her life. She is a very strong woman with a passionate and loving heart.
I am very grateful to have my mother and I will always look up to her when it comes to raising my own family… She deserves the best! I love you Ma and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
