Happy Anniversary Langga!

We were in college. I already had a crush on him. We were enrolled coincidentally in the same Physics class. He always came in late because he accidentally enrolled in another class that ends an hour after our Physics class starts. I still remember preparing extra paper and ballpen for him. I also remember how I neatly and carefully wrote down notes because I knew he would ask me to let him read it. One time he and one of his closest friends were so late that all he could do was ask me about the error percentage of our experiment. I told him I was not sure but nevertheless gave him an answer. I tried to tell him I was afraid it was not correct but all he said to me was “I trust you.” It was music to my ears. I became confident about myself. I felt happy I was appreciated.

Women are simple. Their happiness is simple. All it takes is just a little act of kindness and sincerity and that is it, you will surely take their breath away…

This is not for men only but I think this also applies to women as well.

It was a nice movie. Although I was expecting more action, found out it was more about expressing thoughts and feelings. I was so sleepy when we were watching it but somehow I loved the ending when Edward made the proposal. Though I was not really satisfied, the ending is just so intriguing. I can’t wait for the next saga…

I thought a whole body massage should be appropriate. He might have suffered muscle pains from all the squeezing and carrying basketful of clothes to the clothesline. Since I do not have the expertise to do body massage I decided to check youtube.com for some demonstrations. No sweat! I learned it in just minutes. So I went back upstairs and started to apply what I have learned. He was appreciative and asked me where I learned it from. I didn’t tell him the whole story. I was happy also at least I was able to make him feel good that day ready for Manny Pacquiao’s fight versus Miguel Cotto!

Growing up is not easy especially when you are falling in love. As this might almost always be happening to teenagers, this is also happening to women in their mid 20’s. Well, when a woman gets old she becomes desperate. She gets so stressed and is unable to concentrate on getting her man’s attention. So girls, I want to share to you how I got my man.

My attention was caught by this guy who is silent but maintains a dominant facade however still looks innocent and warm. I was quickly drawn to him that everytime I go to school I always look for him and just by seeing him makes my day complete already. I could not bear any longer just watching him as my desire to know him more gets stronger everyday. I somehow needed to do something.

One day, I learned that our guidance office was holding a seminar for relationship management. Thinking about the activities that we do related on the topic, I realized it might have an activity where we get to know other participants. I thought this is my chance. So this were the things I did.

I watched his every move that day. When I learned that he already registered to attend the seminar, I went directly to the area and looked up his name in the list. I found out he registered on a morning schedule. So what I did was, I also listed my name there: I decided to join the morning session with him and then the afternoon schedule with my friends so that they would not know what I was up to. So the next day, I attended the seminar and I was indeed correct! He was there! However, 2 things happened that day: 1) something broke my heart and 2) another mended it fast.

So what happened?!!! Each participants were given 3 small pieces of paper. Each 3 uniquely colored paper contained messages in it. You will give the paper that contains the message you want to say to the person you like. The messages were: 1) “I like you” – yellow, 2) “I want to be your friend” – green, and the last one, which I was really hoping to get from him, says “I want to know you more” – pink.  I was praying so hard to get it. So I told myself, I have to make my move. I planned to give him “I want to know you more.” so that he would know how I feel. Then, the moment had come for me to realize my plan. As I was walking toward him, my heart was pounding so hard, I could feel my face was turning red already. I kept on walking toward him with my heart full of excitement about what his reaction would be. Would I be rejected? Or would he give me the same message? If he does, is it sincere or just to reciprocate what I have given? I was confused but I held on to my plan. But something happened! Someone blocked my way! A girl blocked my way and gave him first the message I so want to tell him. I was hurt when he also handed the same colored paper. I was shocked! I was shocked that I could not get that pink paper. Then I realized, he did not know about my feelings. I was ashamed. I wanted to go back to where my seat was. And suddenly, he approached me. He gave me the yellow paper. Then he told me, “I am sorry. That girl gave me the pink paper so I decided to just give her the same. But I like you and I want to know you more.” I could not say anything. I was so happy deep inside. I was thinking he just gave that girl his paper but not the message. I was rationalizing what just happened. I thought if you care for a person and that person saw you give someone a favor then normally you would really try to explain what just happened to erase doubts from that person’s mind. I was thinking he cared for me enough to give such an explanation when I least expect it. I was relieved. I gave him the same message that he gave me. I was contented with just getting the yellow paper. Somehow, I thought to myself that is usually where relationship starts, liking someone. I think that was how the spark between me and my husband started…

So to conclude 1) does not mean you’re a girl, you will just wait. You also need to do your share. 2) When we say “Love will find its way to you”, we also say you need to be visible. 3) If you will never try, then you will never know. What is there to lose, when you never had it in the first place?

Now, I can see and feel that my husband has become sweeter each day. He has learned to make me more happy. I think may be because he has gone to the next level. When I say that, I meant, I think he has now understood that I am really a woman who needs to be loved and be sometimes flattered by small symbols of love. Today, I got flowers from him. Pink roses which for me signifies how soft and fragile a woman’s heart is.
